Fifi asked Kathleen Baldwin:

To one of my favorite authors ever, Mrs. Kathleen Baldwin- First off, I wanted to thank you for accepting my friend request! You write some of the best novels ever, which makes you one of the best authors ever! :) Also, I wanted to thank you for writing such excellent novels for all of us readers! I was wondering, what scenes in the Stranje House series were your favorite to write (if any)? Thanks again!

Kathleen Baldwin Thank you for the very kind words! I'm touched, and I appreciate you taking the time to let me know. You're sweet--and your words mean a lot to me. Thank you!

As for your question, I try not to include any scenes I don't feel strongly about. That said, I do have several favorites, I'll tell you three:
1st, the scene where Georgie sees how beaten Sebastian is when he is captive at the Iron Crown stronghold tore me up to write, and is still difficult for me to read. However, because I feel it came close to the emotion I was hoping to capture it remains one of my favorite scenes. I also love the final scene of that book.
2nd, the scene in Refuge for Masterminds on the dock, when Lady Jane runs to Alexander is a personal favorite. I cried writing it.
And I also love the scene at the end of Exile for Dreamers when Tess has a vision of the future.
