Charlaine Harris Francine, writing can be a spiritual practice some days, because I figure out some great solution to a problem in the book, or I get to express some of my own moral views. It's also a lot of fun and a huge challenge. I began writing as a small child, and I knew that was what I wanted to do forever. The ideas start rolling in when you are a writer, because that's part of the requirement for the job.
