THANK YOU! It was part research, part upbringing, part affinity.
My favorite comic books are the DOOM PATROLs when it was being run by by Grant Morrison and Richard Case. Which, just saying that, I felt myself gain 50 nerd points. :D
I am not a huge comic geek, though. I am more a BUFFY/Dr. Who style nerd. I married a man who keeps his whole collection in sleeves, though, and my beloved older brother is, like Leia, Geek-famous. He is a sculptor who makes the greens for many famous gaming figurines.
