Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

M.L. Nystrom I don't like what I call cookie cutter characters. I've read some other book series that felt like I was reading the same person over and over again, in looks, in personality, and in speech. I try hard not to fall into that chasm, although I'm sure there are similarities in writing styles. I got my idea for the most recent publication in the Dragon Runners MC series simply looking for opposites. The previous book had a feisty red headed Amazonian woman and a blonde Viking playboy who was supposed to be more fun than serious. The third book needed radically different characters, so we had the serious deputy struggling with the weight of the world on his shoulders and the nurturing, giving, crafty, girly-girl. Next up in book four is another set of main characters that are different than the previous book. Check it out when it becomes available.
