Goodreads asked V.P. Rigel:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

V.P. Rigel Get the story out of your head before it drives you crazy, then you drive it crazy, then it comes back to haunt you and drives you crazy again. Or in other words, just write. One sentence at the time and then another. Don't be afraid if it will suck, because it will suck. Develop your thick skin because you'll need it. If you need tips on that, just look at the politicians, they are handling it with excellence. And then write under the pseudonym. You'll look cooler with a cool name, and it will free you from the judgemental eyed centipedes of the world. Oh yeah, and like read a lot. Fiction and nonfiction. Books, magazines, comics, audio books, blogs, whatevs. And spend at least one afternoon per month developing your most literary power move, the almighty Coma. Other than that, google is your best friend, as usual.
