I live in north east Derbyshire myself and love to read about places I've spent time in. and don't you think the lady bower visitors centre would be a great place for some unpleasant behaviour?

I'm sure it is, Marna! In fact, Fairholmes visitor centre does appear in 'Secrets of Death', when a gruesome discovery is made there, and it's also mentioned in my Ben Cooper novella 'Claws'. There's scope for more, though. :)

Hi, will freely admit crime is not normally my thing but happened across Black Dog and purely because I am a big Led Zepplin fan I picked it up. Since I have been hooked, Ben for all is moaning is a great character and your books make me want to visit the Peak District. Question is.... Is there a safe time of year to visit?? 😃
