I absolutely loved The Good Samaritan and have begun reading The One now. I was pleasantly surprised that you mentioned my local town Sandiacre! And I could even imagine Ellie's helicopter landing in my old school field nearby haha. Who is your favourite English author?

Ha! I have fond memories of that town. I had a friend who lived there who sadly passed away too young in the early 1990s, and I have stayed friends with her family over the last 25 years or so. So I know the area quite well.
I don't have any one favourite British author, but a few I like are Tom Rob Smith, John Boyne (he's Irish but he counts, right?), John Niven and newbies Cara Hunter and CK Skuse.
