The last books of the Vorkosigan’s saga looked like a sort of “the kids are all right”. You fixed Ivan, Simon , then Cordelia with Jole, and of course Miles and his family. Right now, when I think about miles and its universe, 3 things still need fixings. 1 Jackson hole, 2 Athos, 3 Barrayar empire and the long in the making constitution. Any chance to see any of these thing developed?

That would be the sort of thing written by a writer with a passion for political fiction.
(My interest is psychological studies, if you haven't figured that out by now.)

...what about Athos do you imagine needs fixing? They looked like they were doing OK when last seen...

I note with regret that you say you are semi-retired. I assume that this means that your literary output will be at a slower pace than before. I am greedy for as many Bujold stories as possible. Would you ever consider working with younger co-authors to put out new books? I would expect that you would be reluctant to let Miles, Pen, Ivan, Elli, et al 'leave home', but other authors seem to be doing this.

Having now read all your novels, I’m more convinced than ever you’d appreciate Miyazaki’s long Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind manga. (Its story overlaps with only the beginning of the movie.) He spent 11 years on it, probably his best work. Vivid characters, deeply moving, purposeful world building, nothing cliché or even particularly familiar. If you’re exploring some manga, why not?

I wish I could read Flowers of Vashnoi in print. I wasn't fast enough to get the limited edition from Subterranean Press. Is there any likelihood of getting this novella in print in some other way, like a compilation with something else? I may have to break down and figure out how to download the ebook, but I don't really like those.
