Hey Michael! Just want to say thanks again, for the advice you gave me a few months ago (If you remeber me) I have come on leaps and bounds... Also, The First Empire Series has been brilliant so far, Age of War was epic! and I loved how you had that link to the Riyria books... don't want to post spoilers, but I was shocked at the end! never saw that coming! Are there more links to Riyria in the next book? Cheers!

Hey John, you are very welcome regarding the advice. I love helping out fellow authors, so if you ever have questions, I'll do my best to answer them.
And I'm thrilled you loved Age of War. We've just finished the line edits for Age of Legends and things are moving along smoothly for a July release.
As for connections between the Riyria books and the Legends series, yep there is more to come. Part of what I was doing with regards to Legends was telling you the truth behind various historical figures and events of the past. As we all know, history is written by the victors, so what people in the future know, and what ACTUALLY happened are oftentimes two very different things.
For those who only read on series or the other, they get a complete story, but for those that read both, there are some bonuses as you see how the two are connected. It's one of my favorite things about the arc of the whole story.
Oh, and I should mention, I'm currently working on "the bridge series" - a trilogy that fits between Legends and Riyria which, among other things, tells the true events related to the Fall of the Empire which follows Esrahaddon, Jerish and Nevrik. I have the first book written, and I'm 1/2 way through the second. Fun stuff!
Thanks for writing, and for reading. I'll do my best to keep the books coming!

Hi Michael, I just found out that I missed the kickstarter for Riyria #3. Are you going to put the ebook in Amazon, or iTunes or any other sites so I can purchase it and read about Royce and Hadrian's next adventure? Would it be out at this November as well? Thanks! Jennifer

Hey Mike, I've been a long time fan (I read the whole Riyria Revelations in a week :3). I backed your kickstarter for your new Riyria Chronicles book, but I noticed you changed up the names for the First Empire books. As a person that loved the out of the ordinary and unique names that you previously had, I am wondering why you changed them?

Will we ever see future stories of Royce and Hadrian, or just more of their past adventures?
