Good luck with the movie of "Behind Closed Doors!!" (I'm having trouble making myself read it because a fictional dog dying and a fictional disabled woman being abused somehow upset me as bad as the real thing. I'm pathetic). 2 questions - was there a working title for BCD, and how do you develop titles for your books?

You're not pathetic, I know the themes in my book are hard even if they are fictional, but it was important to show how manipulative my character could be. And Millie (my character with Downs) isn't actually abused, it never happens, and she's in fact the heroine of the story :)
The working title for BCD was Saving Grace. I don't have as much say in my titles as I thought I'd have, my publisher often suggests titles because they know what works. But I did choose Behind Closed Doors!
