I was inspired by my own experience at school and university. At school I felt intensely pressured into pursuing academia - to get good grades and a degree and a career and money - even though that wasn't really what I was passionate about. That resulted in me studying English at a very academic university and spending three years miserable because I made the wrong choice! I wanted to write a book to show that there are always other options and paths through life.

How did you get the book noticed/published? Like, once you've drafted the book, proofed it etc.. it's like: "now what?" And were there any troubles with your age?? (like not being taken seriously) sorry for the many questions!! :))
