Goodreads asked A.M. Geever:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

A.M. Geever I'm firmly of the opinion that there's no such thing as writer's block - there's just not writing. The more I write, the more ideas I have, the more disciplined and excited I get about it. When I'm not writing it's usually because there's something else going on in my life that needs attention, or I am not prioritizing my writing like I need to, or I'm just being lazy.

When I'm really banging my head off the wall and the idea just won't come I've started leaving it and working on something else (so far, a different part of the book, rather than doing it all in order, because there are always a couple scenes that I'm more excited about than others). Sometimes what to do won't come because what I'm trying is a bad idea that I need to abandon. Sometimes I need to work on something else and then my brain comes up the solution all by itself and presents it to me as a great idea when I'm in the shower.

Just write - everyday, even if it's only for ten minutes. And I'll try to take my own advice. :-)
