Hello Mr. Grant. The Gone books were my favorite throughout middle and early high school, and I’ve just started rereading Gone for the first time, now in my early 20’s. If you’ve answered this already, I apologize, but why did you choose 15 as the “poof” age?

Michael Grant I needed an age well short of adulthood, but where some skills were present. Too old and it saps the drama. Too young and you box yourself in as to plot, dialog, relationships, etc...
