Hi, I've just read Radio Silence and I want to say that it was soo amazing! One of the best books I've ever read I decided to read Radio Silence thanks to Heartstopper and I have a little question Why Aled don't even mention about Charlie during whole book? I though they're friends, but Charlie seems to know nothing about Aled's problems in Heartstopper, maybe they just aren't that close? Thanks for your answer!! xx

I wrote Radio Silence long before I decided to introduce Aled into Heartstopper. When I was writing Radio Silence, I hadn't thought much about Aled and Charlie's friendship and how well they might know each other.
Retrospectively, I think that Aled has drifted away from Charlie a little by the time of Radio Silence (where Aled is a lot older than in Heartstopper). And Aled has never been the sort of person to share his problems with others.
