Bianca asked Joey W. Hill:

Hello! First let me say I appreciate your books and I first got acquainted with them on deployment when me and the other ladies deployed with me were sharing books. They were a big hit! I find that I greatly enjoy ones with strong Dom women like Lauren from Holding the Cards and Regina from Truly Helpless. Do you have any books that made an impression on you with female Doms? Are they more difficult to write?

Joey W. Hill Bianca, thanks so much for reaching out. You gave me such a smile, thinking of you and the other deployed ladies sharing the books! I'm delighted to hear you've been enjoying my stories, particularly my Female Doms. I've heard good things about Linda Aicher's Bonds of Courage (think she has other FemDom books as well), The One Worth Finding by Teresa Silberstern, and One Night Loan by Aislynn Archer. I'd also recommend checking in with a couple of the GoodReads BDSM groups, because they are usually very generous with recommendations when asked. As far as whether Female Dom stories are harder to write, not at all. Though I admit, years ago, when I wrote Holding the Cards, I had always expected to write MaleDoms/female sub stories. I even tried to write HTC that way, but the muse had other plans. When the story kept feeling wrong on so many levels, I thought, what the heck, and flipped the dynamic. As soon as I did, the story took off, and I learned the important lesson that I could write D/s from a variety of perspectives, and relate to/enjoy those different angles immensely. Lady Lyssa of my Vampire Queen series is one of my personal fave of all my Dommes (grin). Thanks for the great question, and let me know if you need further information. And please thank the other ladies as well. I admire and appreciate you all immensely!
