A good question to which I've never worked out the answer, since, among other things, I've never made up what marriage ceremonies on Komarr consist of. (Though they would include a lot of behind-the-scenes contractual maneuvering, if the principals were from high oligarchical families.) It is entirely possible that Aral, at least, stayed home; Cordelia and/or Miles might have attended; the Komarran Viceroy Imperial Councillor might have stood in for Barrayar.

You say the e-writing process has gotten frighteningly fast. Good thing? Bad thing? Has it changed the way you write? Or any of the different stages of your writing? For myself, I can look back and see so many things that I now do totally differently because of the computer and the internet.

I saw a question asking you for the meaning of Miles' line "I am the man who owns Vorkosigan Vashnoi" but I had to sign off before I could read your answer, and now I can't find that question in Goodreads - no frelling search function! I have my own ideas what that line means to Miles, but I would love to know what you meant by it? My apologies for repeating a question that has already been answered!
