Hi Lori - I really loved the raw honesty displayed in your book. It's not often that we get such an intimate look at the humanity of the therapeutic relationship. Recently I also read Every Day Gets a Little Closer by Irvin Yalom and "Ginny Elkin". The format/premise and the course of therapy described within were quite striking to me. Just curious - what did you think of this book (if you've read it)?

Lori Gottlieb Hi Thomson, I read that book years ago, long before becoming a therapist, and I found it so interesting. I was struck by how two people can have very different impressions of the same interaction, that what seemed meaningful or important to one person may not have seemed as significant to the other, and vice versa. I loved the honesty of both therapist and patient in those letters, and being able to witness the evolution of their relationship in all of its ups and downs. Beautiful and moving.

Hi Lori - I read two of your books, Marry him and you should talk to someone. Both were extremely credible, which to me is the holy grail of any story, fact or fiction. My question is how to spice up my sex life with my wife. I have read a lot of books on this subject, which recommend everything from couples therapy to hotwifing, and find it all confusing and not intuitive. Can you shed any light on this?

What's most rewarding for you,,,one on one consultations with clients or writing a book that's well received by the public??
