Learn to discern the difference between your inner editor who has extremely high standards, and your inner mean girl. That mean girl is a practiced mimic. But the inner critic who has extremely high standards knows when your writing is good, and when it needs work. She will tell you when something is great. The mean girl never will.

Hello Rebecca, I am wondering if your book is autobiographical? Sorry if this is a daft question and somehow I have missed an important introduction. I am dipping into your wonderful book periodically while restoring my Irish garden for my daughter's wedding in June. I am also divorcing my husband after40 years of a lonely marriage. The connection you have with nature is resonating with me you are writing my story.
