So, I was first wondering this when I started reading the books. Were the names of your pegasi inspired by names in the Warrior's series?

Hi Ally,
They were not, actually (or consciously). I considered many options and then decided I wanted natural sounding names inspired by nature (rather than made up names like Syma, Leera, Kalan etc). I decided on compound words and then later, someone pointed out that my names sounded very similar to the Warriors cats series. That's how I found out.
