Glad that you haven’t decided as of yet whether Val is Emmanuelle’s soulmate. I like Val and realize he loves her, but honestly I think she deserves better. I liked how well Emmanuelle got along with Elie Archambault in Shadow Warrior. I think she’s met her match with that one. One of uestion I have is Francesca’s baby going to be ok? They were so worried about her in the last book.

Christine Feehan:
How does male conversion work in regards to lifemates? Some of my friends and I are arguing on how this works. I believe that the adoption ceremony had some effect on the converted males to allow them to get the binding words imprinted on their souls, but one of my friends is saying that it is passed on from father to son, that even mother to son doesn't count, nor conversion. Can you please explain?

Firstly - a big thank you for many days and weeks of wonderful stories to read. I have loved the Drake, Sisters, Dark and Shadow Riders Series (still have to read Ghost) and I wanted to ask - for the Ink series - where did / do you draw your inspiration for characters and how much research did you have to do (and did it involve getting to know members of a motorcycle club) ?
