hey ms stevens! what inspired you to create daisy and hazel (pretty much polar opposite personalities) in best friends? and what is your advice for young authors (I’m 11 and I hope to be publishing a book soon!)

Hello! I think a lot of friendships work like Daisy and Hazel's, especially when you're younger - you have a confident and a less confident person. But Daisy and Hazel see something in each other that they love and respect. I think they complete each other as people really well!
My advice is to write as much as you can, and to have fun - if you do get published, that's great, but don't put pressure on yourself if you don't. The more you write the better you'll get, and that's a great thing in the long run.
