Hi Alyssa,
Sorry it took me awhile to respond. I sent you some tips in your last question. Regarding starting the book, you want to think about what happens that changes your character's life--that's when the story begins. You can show us what his/her normal life is, but then quickly get to what happens to start the adventure! Does your character get captured, meet someone new and daring, get invited on a quest, receive a mysterious message, lose something important, etc. Start there! Best of luck, Jennifer
