Hi! Is The House in the Cerulean Sea going to be a standalone, or are you planning for more stories in that universe? I loved all the characters and am particularly interested in how Lucy grows up. Would love to see him as an emo-teenager, lol, and then as an adult, maybe taking over for Arthur when the time comes. Thanks!

At this point, it's only a standalone. That's one thing I wanted to make sure when I signed this specific contract with Tor, that the three "adult" books I'd give them would all be one-offs.
That being said, I remember quite distinctly saying for years I'd never write a sequel to Normal Person, and we all know how that turned out. As of right now, a tentative no because I like the story as it is. Thank you for reading!
