My current book, "Her Summer at Pemberley," features the story of Kitty Bennet. I always felt there was more to her than we got to see in the book or the films. My next book, "Love & Stones," was my first experience in writing fiction and I was inspired by a real event in my life (involving polo) that I wished had turned out differently, so I used that as the beginning and away I went with it. I don't plan my fiction books, other than having a general idea of how I want them to end. I do more structured planning for nonfiction.
