This one feels very personal. What made you decide to share a little of your experience this time?

I felt it was important to my readers to share the reason I took time off and did not release a book last year. I was diagnosed with an unruptured cerebral aneurysm. I'm totally fine now, but I underwent an embolization where miniature metal coils are injected to block blood flow through the arterial wall. I have the occasional migraine, but otherwise, all is well. But I thought it would be interesting if our heroine experienced the same, and how it would influence her state of mind. Could she trust her own perceptions?

Kathy I love your books. I lived in Montreal for a time and love how you name streets and locations that I am familiar with. Your story lines are amazing . . With all that is happening in the news right now with the pandemic, do you think you will ever use that in one of your books?
