Kathy, what made you choose forensic anthropology as a career?

Kathy Reichs when I was a kid I liked to reaad the Popular Archaeology book series. I got my Bachelor of Arts degree with a a major in skeletal biology from American University. A year later I completed a Master of Arts in physical anthropology from Northwestern. Forensic requirers some additional skills that aren't necessarily those of the archaeologist, even an archaeologist with a good understanding of osteology and human skeletons. So I did some retraining, and submitted my candidacy for certification from the American Board of Forensic Anthropologists.
