David Beniston asked Caimh McDonnell:

I am going to read the Dublin trilogy this week But should I read Angels in the Moonlight first. Did you write it before the others?

Caimh McDonnell Hi David,
Thanks for the question. Angels was the third of the books I wrote but it is a prequel to the others so you can read it before them, or in the order they were written. Basically, I geekly like the fact that which way you go through determines your opinion of a certain character. It can be read either way - I've seen readers suggest reading Angels first and others suggesting reading A Man With One of Those Faces first. I might actually do a survey to see what most people would recommend.
The only restriction is to read Angles before you read Last Orders as lots of things that happened in the prequel, get resolved there.

I hope that clears it up a bit!
