In a past post years ago you mentioned that you listened to the music of Dave Carter and Tracy Grammar a lot while writing the Sharing Knife series. Because of your mention I now own all those albums - Big fan - Carter will be missed. Their "When I Go" album perfectly compliments the Sharing Knife series. Which begs the question....Is the Sharing Knife series the Ultimate FanFic for Carter & Grammer's music?
Lois McMaster Bujold
Well, a great many sources went into those books, but if you want to think of them that way, why not. :-)

First, thank you for all you've written, especially the Vorkosigan Saga; Aral and Jole and Cordelia's relationship meant a lot to me; I've been in a similar position to Jole's re: Aral (age, power, love), and "but he's ooold! it's immoral! how dare?" But re: the Betan herms. I know they're not intersex, but I am, and reading them meant a lot to me. I'd been wondering if there was any early Moravian influence there?

So many questions, so few characters!
Did Leo & Silver have children?
Why do many Quaddie names seem like surnames (Venn, Watts, etc)
Was Delia named after Cordelia?
How could the twins be 5 in Cryo. and 11 in GJ?
How many kids for Ivan so far? Where is he posted?
Did Nikki get adopted? Change his name to VK?
Why does only 1 of 3 libraries I use for e/audio have any of your books and V books only in audio? ack

Dear Lois, thank you very much for all your books! You're one of my favorite writers. Might be a silly question (and answered somewhere way below my scrolling abilities?): both in the Curse of Chalion and in the Miles series, there is a "love" triangle between the powerful man (Ias, Aral) and his wife/male friend. I wonder whether this type of relation is inspired by some famous historical examples?
