What do you think are the most pressing international security threats?

Lawrence Wright Climate change is a serious threat. Hurricane Harvey did more damage to Houston, for instance, than al-Qaeda could ever hope for. These ongoing cyberwars are really dangerous because they could lead to an actual shooting war if enough damage is done. In the novel, I also explore the danger of biowarfare, a much underappreciated specter on the horizon.
