Tim Morris
Tim Morris asked Lawrence Wright:

"The Looming Tower" is one of my favorite books (and a pretty good Hulu series as well). I was astounded by the amount of research that must have gone into it. How long did that take? How does your level of research compare in your non-fiction and fiction works? I just moved to Houston to work at the Chronicle and found "God Save Texas" to be very enlightening. I'm becoming a fan.

Lawrence Wright thanks, Tim. "The Looming Tower" was five years of my life, about half of it on the road. I interviewed over 600 people. It was more a mission than an assignment. I've never had that deep an experience before or since. But research is central to all my work, even "The End of October," which is based on factual science. Welcome to Texas, I hope it is as good to you as it has been to us.
