Looking forward to reading your new book! What are some of the covid19-induced changes you imagine we will make long-term, even after we get a vaccine?

Lawrence Wright I'm obsessed with this question. there are too many answers, but let me say that we're at a historic crossroads. Wars, economic depressions, and pandemics give you an X-ray of the society you live in. We all see our problems--the partisanship, the lack of competence and accountability, the needless geopolitical rivalries in the face of a historic natural assault on humanity. We can make adjustments that will make us stronger, more unified and compassionate. Or we will fail, and we'll look back at this moment with regret.
