Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

E.L. Parfitt Shattered Roses was inspired by Beauty and the Beast. I wanted to use a fragmented narrative to reflect one central character's mind. This was a bit of a mess at the beginning so I added Megan's narrative to pull the threads together. The book I am writing currently (Working title: Fran) was inspired by wanting to write a book about two women's friendship and possible reconciliation. Can two close friends who have fallen out find their way back to each other? Is forgiveness possible?
