After one thousand, eight hundred and twenty five days of serving in the Pharaoh's army, I had ignored the same sharp knocks on the door each night despite the icy sliver of fear that whispered at my neck. Taking a deep breath I drew back my spear, pointed the iron tip at the Tomb of the Fallen Princess and opened the coffin door, screaming as her fiery breath engulfed me in flames.
