When I walk through the dark, narrow alleys of the old town, surrounded by medieval architecture, it's like being in a time capsule that has preserved the sights, smells, sounds and textures of the Middle Ages. Vivid characters and plot lines simply spring to my mind. It's the perfect setting for a thriller.
