Sofía Segovia Thank you for reading The Murmur of Bees. Love your question! I didn't feel the need to SHOW them together. It just felt so natural to end the story right then and there and just show the promise of their reunion, not as old men, but as the youths they were the last time they saw each other ("because in that world that allowed them entry and welcomed them, under the bridge where they both spent their first hours and saw their first light. They’re waiting in that world where there is no time, where they’ve kept a space for me.")

Dear Sofia, I so enjoyed "The Murmur of Bees," which I just finished and have assigned this month to the members of my book club in Dubuque, Iowa, USA. I had been looking forward to reading this book for several months and I found it to be as rich and gorgeous a story as I'd hoped.
