What did you do after your book got rejected the first time? (I don't know for sure that this happened, but it seems to happen with practically every author.) Did you edit your book or query another agent?

It has definitely happened to almost every author. I happened to be seven when it happened. It was huge bummer and I was really upset. But I kept on writing!
