Goodreads asked Chip R. Bell:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Chip R. Bell Writer's block is about a fear of error or failing to say something smart or valuable. The best way to deal with any fear is to charge it! I just write anyway. Sometimes finding another creative activity to do (I like to play the piano) can jumpstart your writing. The bottom line is this: As, my granddaddy always said, "The best way to turn a mule is to first get the mule moving." It is the same with writing. Start writing…anything...and at some point the muses will join you.
