Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

DeeDee Lake Rules of Engagement is a 7-book inspirational, sweet, military romance series. I began working on the storyline and characters over thirty years ago when I lived in Panama. God just never let me let it go.
I learned you should write about what you know. I know Jesus. I know the military - Navy Brat, Army wife. I know sweet romance with my sweetie husband, Seth.
So, the story blossomed, even more, when Susan Baganz and I decided to become writing partners and get the stories written and published. We think you'll enjoy the characters and settings.
