Nayab
Nayab asked Michael Robotham:

When did you realize that you wanted to express your creativity and knowledge through writing? Was it encouraged by others? What creative expressions (e.g. art, dance, media, music) have you tried in the past, present or future to express your creativity through?

Michael Robotham I wanted to be a writer from my early teens when I discovered the works of Ray Bradbury. I was growing up in a small country town in Australia and it was hard to get books. I wrote Bradbury a letter and he wrote back to me, gifting me some books. It was a tremendous gesture and one that helped inspire me to write. I was also fortunate to have some very good English teachers - one in particular who gave me reading lists, introducing me to Steinbeck, Hemingway, Faulkner and Fitzgerald.
