They say if we reflect back on our childhood, it is there that our gifts and passions are revealed. When we are most vulnerable is the time that we recognize what we want to aspire to. Did you always long to write & evolve as an author?
B. Lynn Goodwin
The first time I remember wanting to write was the day a Bobbsey Twins book arrived in the mail back at 617 Old Orchard. I must have been 6 or 7 and may have a lot of details scrambled, but I loved the idea of writing and having a check arrive in the mail, though I don't know how I would have known about checks back then. Somehow the whole idea stayed with me, replaying in dreams as well as my conscious mind. I always wanted to write, working alone at a portable typewriter, preferably at my mother's desk by the window at 617. There's be peace and productivity in self-expression. Definitely, I evolved as an author, though I always wanted to write. Thanks for this journey taking me back.

faux fur white collar on the coat and all us children ice skating until it was too cold & our ankles hurt... once inside I remember that easy bake oven where I made scrumptious chocolate cake under a lightbulb.. Haaa !!! Funny now when I reflect back? My brother was on his big plastic horse on springs wearing a cowboy hat and plastic holster.. rocking back and forth with his imagination running wild I'm sure...
