Goodreads asked Stephen Roth:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Stephen Roth I write for pleasure. It is a creative outlet that I am passionate about. The way I view it, if I have writer's block, I am not ready to write. When I am away from the keyboard, I love thinking about my book; what direction I could bring a character or the plot. When I come up with something, I get right to the keyboard and start hitting the keys. Putting no pressure on yourself - no timeline - is the best way, in my opinion, to deal with writer's block.
