Love your work, all of it. Just finished rereading all of Anita’s books. After my second reading of the series I realized that I wanted more Jean-Claude. He is always being left behind. Most of his page time is much shorter than the other main characters. Even during major “battles” we don’t ever see him do much I am hoping he gets much more page time in the future and gets to show how bad ass he can be?

You're not the only reader that's asked for more on screen time for Jean-Claude lately. Anita has been doing a lot more books as a U.S. Marshal and when she's on the job it's hard to include Jean-Claude. I know that he will be more on stage in the next Anita Blake novel coming out in 2022.

For Micah, why did you change the perception of him so dramatically and extreme? He was the good guy that went along with what Anita wanted and needed. Now he seems to be a sort of wanna be cult leader. He gets people to join the coalition through 3 ways: willingly joining, fighting to the death, sex with him/others. When did this happen? How did Anita not know? Why’d she let the subject go?

I've been rereading your series and something has caught my mind. Primo. Several books back, I'm currently reading Hit List, Primo was rolled by Jean Claude and Anita to stop him from causing further injury to bouncers and customers alike. Afterwards he was tucked away into a cross-wrapped coffin. Is he still there? If so, will we see him again?

I'm an aspiring writer, but I'm dealing with two things: I get discouraged every single day because 96% of manuscripts are rejected, and I haven't had an idea for years, literally. There's too many people wanting to be writers, and knowing there's so much competition just kills me a little every day. When I get motivated, immediatly something appears about the industry that kills it. Any tips on how to deal with this?
