Hi Nancy! Are you First Nations yourself? If not, what research went into The Last Bull at Raymond and how do you feel it accurately represents these people?

Nancy Jane Hi Celia! Thank you so much for your question. I am not First Nations, but many of my blood relatives are. I am a Shaman and a sacred pipe carrier. My Elder is a fourth-generation Shaman and carrier of six sacred pipes. It took twenty-eight years to write this book; twenty-eight years of researching and reviewing, particularly regarding the many concepts and various cultural beliefs involved in reincarnation and Shamanism. I used that research to write a fiction story. As for the second part of your question, I am not sure what you mean by these people? There are many people in the book, and they are all related, as we are also related to you.
