Hello, Jeff. When I consider my all time favorite authors, in the past few years, you've moved to the top of the list, right alongside Terry Brooks. I'm currently loving Lady's Ransom. I've never gotten into social media or had an interest in marketing myself--which I'm learning is a necessity if you want to sell books. If you could offer one nugget of marketing advice to a debut novelist, what would it be?
Jeff Wheeler
Hi Jason: there is a ton of advice out there on the internet, which I'm sure you've seen. But here is one nugget that I got from my editor at A-Pub. The best way to sell more copies of book #1 is to write book #2. If readers like your style, they'll want more. The more you produce and meet or exceed their expectations, the more comfortable they'll be sharing you with their friends/family. And word of mouth is still the best way to market books. You can't buy that or rent it. It just happens when magic occurs between a reader and a book.

I have two questions for you: 1. Do you have any plans to re-release some of your older books with different covers? 2. I know that your series take place in different worlds, centuries and w/ different characters, but what's the chronological reading order between all your connected series?

I am really enjoying your Muirwood series. You are an excellent writer. You have written that you are inspired by philosophers and ancient religions, specifically Christianity. You seem to write from a more mystical and esoteric view, however. What other traditions and philosophers and practices have inspired you? It would be great to have some references to study .
