Elle, what was your inspiration for writing Him & Us? The thoughts of the characters were so spot on with the struggles people face with homosexuality and just wanted to know where your inspiration came from? thank you! Elle Kennedy Honestly, it was reading Sarina Bowen’s The Understatement of the Year that inspired me – so much so that I reached out to find out if she ever wanted to cowrite together. She felt the same way, and we had such an amazing time plotting out Him. It was an awesome experience.
