What was your inspiration for the wonderful declaration of love Frost gives to Merry in A Lick of Frost (end of Chapter 15)? Has anyone every asked for your help in writing their wedding vows?

People have asked permission to use Frost's speech to Merry in their wedding vows, and I've gladly given it. My inspiration was Frost himself, he has become "real" enough that it was simply how he felt, and I just had to take dictation. Sometimes characters are real enough that it works that way for a few pages, a few scenes, or even chapters.

Will the new series of Merry (which I have read at least a dozen times and live for) translate to our current political, economic and racial climate?. I've always pictured Darkness as African although I know he is meant to be a shadowy jet dark. There is something about the light and darkness that has become the norm. Anyways fingers crossed.. This is kind of similar to my last question but slightly different so I feel justified in asking. Would you ever be willing to write short stories of her and her loves relationships deepening? What I mean by that is, Frost and Merry fell in love largely off screen. It would be nice to see just them going about their daily lives and/or hanging out and seeing what they fell in love with and how
