I just finished Murder at Sunrise Lake. Stella's friends are so well-fleshed out, with interesting stories of their own to tell, I'm wondering if this will become a new series. (?)

Christine Feehan I don't currently have any plans to make it a series. I do, however, plan to use some of those characters for new standalone stories.
Red on the River will be out this summer and it will feature on of the women you met in Murder at Sunrise Lake.

(Not sure if these have already been asked). The Carpathains who lived in the monastery often mention that they did not swear allegiance to Mikhail after what happened with his father Vlad. Can we assume this is a reference to Dracula (some historical accounts mention an elder son named Mikhail)? Will we ever hear a story of how Vlad earned the Carpathians' distrust, or do we assume he went vampire a la Bram Stoker?
