Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Kaytlin Phillips My most recent book is a Western set in Kansas and I got the idea when my family took a trip to New Mexico, we passed through Oklahoma and the sunset was beautiful! We stayed in a ranch house and I thought, hey I want to write a Western set in Oklahoma! So I started the book there and went to work on it when I got home, I'd say I'm halfway through. And the reason it is now set in Kansas instead of Oklahoma is that after researching I found that Oklahoma was Tribal land during the time period I wanted to set the book, so now it's Kansas, which I've also driven through...lol...
