Robin Watson
Robin Watson asked Charles Todd:

Oh, I’m so very sorry about your mother. Does that mean no more Ian Rutledge or Bess Crawford? The State of Delaware has suffered a loss with your mothers death. Wasn’t she involved with sheltered animals? She seemed like the perfect Southnern lady.

Charles Todd Dear Robin:

Thank you so much for your condolances. The outpouring from our many readers/friends has been a tremendious support for me and my family!

I am working on the next Ian Rutledge mystery. When it is complete our agent and a few close friends will take a look at it. Caroline and I had high expectations to maintain the standards for quality that is Charles Todd. If I am able to live up to those standards the manuscript will be submitted to our publisher.

Caroline was indeed a Southern Lady and loved her furry friends. She had quite a zoo out side that came looking for food and love. She never turned away any of God's Creatures hungry and unloved. She also had cats in her home that were the love of her life. (They are with her sister who is continuing to love and care for them). Caroline supported the Delaware Humane Society and other adoption groups.

One thing I will always cherish is her determination and strength, Never underestimate a Southern Lady!

All the Best,
Charles
