I just finished the newest Bess Crawford, At the Cliff's Edge -- I loved it!! When will book 14 be ready!?!?! I know it takes awhile to write, edit, etc, so I will be patient, but love Bess and her adventures when she gets published!

Dear Christine:
I am delighted to hear you enjoyed The Cliff's Edge. I turned in the manuscript for the next or 25th Ian Rutledge mystery to my agent this past weekend. I have a short story to write in March and then in April I will begin working on the 14th Bess Crawford mystery in April. As a general rule it takes a year from the time a manuscript is submitted to a publisher until it is released for sale as a book. These first books I am writing alone tae me a little longer because I want to make certain they live up to the high standards Caroline and I set and our fans deserve.
Simply said I am working very hard to get these complete and do quality work.
